How Station Adoption Works
When you adopt a station, you’re committing to two deliveries on Monday, January 26: 1.Morning Donuts (around 7:00 AM) 2.Evening Dinner (typically around 5:30 PM) Note: Do to health regulations we encourage meals direct from restaurants, unless you have a personal connection to a station. Fire stations may be out on runs, so if they aren’t there when you arrive, you may need to wait a few minutes or circle back. ⸻
Step-by-Step Adoption Instructions
Step 1: Choose Your Station Browse the list of stations and click Adopt This Station and fill out the form. This is your commitment and remember they are counting on you. ⸻
Step 2: Morning Donut Delivery (around 7:00 AM) Deliver donuts based on the station’s listed manpower. Suggested amount: We recommend 4 times the manpower, so both the outgoing shift and incoming shift can enjoy breakfast. Example: If manpower is 5, bring 20 donuts (about 2 dozen). ⸻
Step 3: Confirm Details While You’re There During your morning drop-off: •Verify preferred dinner time, any food allergies and manpower (sometimes staffing changes) •Ask for one contact name + phone number So if the crew gets called out during dinner delivery, you have someone to reach. ⸻
Step 4: Plan Dinner (and don’t forget dessert) Secure a meal for the station for the evening. Helpful notes: •Dessert is encouraged 🍪 •Drinks are optional •Condiments are usually not needed (stations typically have what they need) •If you provide utensils/napkins, that’s a nice bonus, but not required ⸻
Step 5: Deliver Dinner (as close to 5:30 PM as possible) Deliver dinner around 5:30 PM, or at the time the station suggests when you speak to them in the morning. Again, if they’re out on a run, you may need to wait or return shortly. ⸻
